The newsmagazine's staff meets period 7, and the students will begin the year with a welcome back issue. Stampede students will be focusing on storytelling with words, photos and video.

Yearbook staff members meet periods 2 and 3. They begin each year by developing and designing a theme and overall look and tone for the book. Much planning and instruction on everything from caption writing and storytelling to photo techniques takes place at the start of each year.
